Cobaltoan Calcite, Malachite, Chrysocolla, Quartz, Kolwezi Mining District, Democratic Republic of the Congo

Aesthetic combination of cobaltoan calcite malachite and chrysocolla. The malachite botryoidal growths are actually growing over and replacing chrysocolla that can be seen underneath.  Aside from the great deep pink color and great luster this specimen also has an unusal association on the back, a small double terminated quartz.
