Dravite, Sharby Village, Sverdlosvsk Oblast, Russia

Interesting cluster of dravite from a small find in Russia. In normal lighting they exhibit an interesting greyish brown color that shows hints of blue depending on the angle of the light. This feature is far more pronounced with polarized lighting as shown in the photos. The first photo is in regular led lighting, the second and third show the specimen lit with polarized light showing the strong pleochroism. The video shows the specimen through a polarizing filter as it is rotated the color changes.
